1st Timothy 1:18 this charge I commit to you my son Timothy according to the prophecies that went before on you that by them you will fight a good warfare.
As the beloved Apostle states in his letter to Timothy we as soldiers in Christ must pick our fights wisely and not be so quick to the sword but we must exhibt the fruits of the spirit we indeed must be on the offensive and be ready to defend the truth of the gospel, but we must be patient and humble and submit to the soverginty of God and not as a fierce tyrant ready to draw blood when the battle rages.
